A man sustained critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Fresno on Monday morning, January 6, 2025.
According to the Fresno Police Department, officers received a call at approximately 7:50 a.m. reporting a pedestrian being struck by a car.
When authorities arrived, they discovered the injured man, who had suffered a head injury.
Investigators determined that the driver was traveling south on Weber Avenue and turned east onto Olive Avenue, where they failed to see the pedestrian crossing the road and struck him.
The injured man was transported to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
