Six individuals sustained injuries in a four-vehicle collision in Imperial County, on Monday afternoon, January 6, 2025
According to responders from County Fire, the collision was reported at approximately 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of East Correll Road and South Dogwood Road.
Fire crews initiated triage operations upon arrival and provided emergency medical care to the injured.
An air ambulance was requested to transport one patient to an out-of-county trauma center. Two other individuals were transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center, while two more were taken to Pioneers Memorial Hospital. One patient was evaluated at the scene and released.
The California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the cause of the collision.
