A motorcyclist sustained major injuries after a collision with a pickup truck in Sacramento on Monday afternoon, January 6, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, emergency crews responded to the crash at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Del Paso Boulevard and Sorento Road.
The collision occurred when a pickup truck traveling south on Sorento Road made a left turn, striking the motorcyclist who was traveling on Del Paso Boulevard.
The injured rider, a man in his 20s, was transported to a hospital with major but non-life-threatening injuries, officials reported.
Authorities confirmed that DUI was not a factor in the incident.
The crash is currently under investigation.
