A bicyclist has died after being struck by two hit-and-run vehicles in Oxnard on Monday evening, January 6, 2025.
According to the Oxnard Police Department, the victim, an unidentified male believed to be in his 40s, was riding his bicycle on Channel Islands Boulevard near Dallas Drive when he was hit by the first vehicle, which ejected him from the bike. Moments later, he was struck by a second vehicle.
Both drivers fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The victim was transported to Ventura County Medical Center in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities are continuing their search for the drivers involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact the OPD.
