A hit-and-run collision on Marconi Avenue in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento County, left a bicyclist injured on Tuesday evening, January 7, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 8:48 p.m. east of Wright Street.
Preliminary reports indicate that the bicyclist, a man in his 30s, was riding westbound in the designated bike lane when an unknown vehicle traveling in the same direction struck him and fled the scene.
The bicyclist was transported to the hospital with “possible major but non-life-threatening injuries,” CHP reported.
The incident is under investigation, and authorities are working to locate the driver involved in the hit-and-run.
