A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a large truck on South China Lake Boulevard in Ridgecrest on Wednesday evening, January 10, 2025.
According to authorities, the crash occurred at approximately 5:42 p.m. in the 1600 block of South China Lake Boulevard, just south of the Shell gas station.
The pedestrian was crossing the roadway when they were struck by a large truck. The truck driver remained at the scene and was not injured in the collision.
China Lake Boulevard was temporarily closed to allow for investigation after the ambulance transported the injured pedestrian to a local hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
