One person was killed in a work-related accident in Oakland’s Pill Hill neighborhood on Thursday morning, January 9, 2025.
According to the Oakland Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 11:00 a.m. in the 400 block of 30th Street.
Responding officers discovered an unresponsive individual with major injuries. Paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced the individual dead.
