One man is dead and a second man injured after a vehicle crashed off the 210 Freeway Saturday night, January 10, 2026, and landed on a San Bernardino sidewalk.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. at the westbound 210 Freeway and 215 Freeway interchange.
A 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe drove onto the paved shoulder, broke through the guard rail, and flew more than 100 feet off the embankment, landing on its side near 30th Street and Little Mountain Drive.
The driver, a 33-year-old Los Angeles man, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, a 33-year-old Inglewood man, was found unresponsive and suffering from major injuries. He was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
As of Sunday morning, the CHP had not publicly identified either individual involved. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
