[01-14-2025] Two Elderly Women Injured, Dog Killed After Head-On Collision in Palm DesertTwo elderly women sustained moderate injuries, and a dog was killed in a head-on crash in Palm Desert on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2025.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer David Torres, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. near Washington Street and Del Webb Boulevard. 

Both women were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Tragically, a dog involved in the crash did not survive.

CHP is actively investigating the cause of the collision.
