Two people are dead after a mid-morning crash on Auberry Road in the Fresno County foothills on Friday, January 16, 2026.
The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Auberry and Summit Mountain Road.
While details of the two-car collision have not yet been released, the California Highway Patrol confirmed that two people died in the crash.
Auberry Road is currently closed between Millerton Road and Copper Avenue as officials investigate the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
