A big rig overturned after a collision with a sedan on northbound U.S. Highway 101 near Marsh Road in Redwood City on Sunday morning, January 18, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded around 10:50 a.m. and found the 18-wheeler on its side on the right-hand shoulder.
CHP said the big rig, which had its trailer attached, was involved in a collision with a sedan. Both drivers were transported to Stanford Hospital with minor injuries, according to CHP Officer Sophie Lu.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
