A man on a motorized mobility scooter was injured in a hit-and-run on Monday night, January 20, 2025, in the city of Hesperia.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near the Main Street and I Avenue intersection. Responders arrived to find the injured victim down in the roadway near the driveway of a 76 gas station. The vehicle involved fled the scene before deputies arrived.
The victim, an adult male who reportedly frequents the gas station nightly to purchase a lottery ticket, was taken by ground ambulance to a hospital after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
The Hesperia Police Department has not released any information regarding the suspect vehicle.
