[02-03-2025] Three Injured After Three-Vehicle Head-On Collision on Old Woman Springs RoadThree people sustained injuries following a three-vehicle head-on collision on Old Woman Springs Road near Mikiska Boulevard in Johnson Valley, San Bernardino County, on Monday morning, February 3, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m. and involved a Ford Bronco, a Ford F150, and a Winnebago towing a box trailer. One person was trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extricated using the jaws of life before being airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center.

Two other individuals sustained minor injuries, with one transported via ground ambulance to Hi-Desert Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities identified one of the drivers as 35-year-old Diego F. of Riverside, who was driving a Ford Bronco westbound on Mikiska Boulevard at excessive speed. He reportedly crossed Old Woman Springs Road without slowing down and collided with a northbound 2019 Ford F150, driven by 23-year-old Warren F. of Dewey, Arizona. The impact caused both vehicles to crash into a southbound Winnebago driven by 62-year-old Steven L. of Vista.

All vehicles sustained major damage. Warren F., who suffered severe injuries, was airlifted for treatment.

The CHP stated that alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
