[02-05-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Several Injured After Multiple Crashes on Highway 50 in Folsom Area

Several people were injured after multiple traffic collisions occurred along Highway 50 in the Folsom area during the Thursday evening commute on February 5, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to several crashes along Highway 50 between E. Bidwell Street and Folsom Boulevard between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

CHP said one of the incidents involved a three-vehicle crash on westbound Highway 50 near E. Bidwell Street, where some individuals reported complaints of pain. Another three-vehicle crash in the area resulted in major injuries, and officers said two of the vehicles involved rolled over.

Authorities also reported a solo-vehicle rollover crash along the same stretch of highway. It was not immediately known whether anyone was injured in that incident.

The crashes reduced Highway 50 to one lane for a period of time. CHP said all vehicles were later cleared from the nearly four-mile stretch of roadway. 

The incidents remain under investigation.
