A pedestrian sustained minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Chico late Thursday morning, February 6, 2025.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. at the Arco station near Main Street and W 9th Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two pedestrians involved in the crash. One pedestrian was found underneath a Toyota Tacoma and was treated for minor injuries, while the second pedestrian was unharmed.
Investigators determined that the driver of the Toyota Tacoma failed to yield to pedestrian traffic, leading to the collision. However, the driver was not cited at the scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
