A three-vehicle crash caused traffic delays and a possible injury on southbound Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo on Friday afternoon, February 6, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 3:38 p.m. in the southbound lanes near the Santa Rosa Street off-ramp. A Honda Civic was involved in a collision with two other vehicles, CHP traffic logs showed.
CHP reported that the Honda Civic remained stopped in the No. 1 lane as of 3:39 p.m., and the occupant had not yet exited the vehicle. The occupant may have been injured, and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene.
The other two vehicles were initially stopped in the center divide of the highway but were later moved to the shoulder, according to CHP.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
