[02-07-2026] San Diego County, CA – One Killed in Motorcycle Collision on De Luz Rd.

One person was killed following a collision involving two motorcycles in the De Luz area of San Diego County on Saturday afternoon, February 7, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 12:40 p.m. near the intersection of De Luz Road and Dos Cameos.

Emergency responders from the North County Fire Protection District and Cal Fire arrived at the scene and found the roadway blocked due to the collision.

Ground ambulances transported injured individuals to a nearby landing zone, where Reach Air Medical Services and Mercy Air assisted with air transport.

Authorities confirmed one fatality at the scene. The condition of any other individuals involved was described as injuries of unknown severity.

The crash remains under investigation.
