A two-vehicle collision occurred on Cohasset Road and Jack Rabbit Flat Road in Butte County after one vehicle skidded on a patch of ice and crashed into another early Wednesday morning, February 12, 2025.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Joe Ortiz, the crash was reported at approximately 7:35 a.m. Both vehicles sustained major damage, and both drivers suffered minor injuries. One driver was transported to a hospital for complaints of pain, while the other was treated at the scene and released.
Authorities warn that the area can be hazardous when temperatures drop. CHP continues to investigate the incident.
