A big rig crash on westbound Interstate 80 near Greenback Lane in Foothill Farms, Sacramento County, caused major traffic disruptions on Thursday morning, February 13, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:25 a.m. when an eastbound big rig lost control, crashed through the center divide, and struck at least two other vehicles.
It remains unclear if there were any serious injuries, but three ambulances were seen leaving the crash site.
Traffic in the area was impacted, and authorities advised drivers to expect delays and seek alternate routes. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
