A multi-vehicle collision in Coachella left three people injured, including one in critical condition, on Saturday afternoon, February 15, 2025.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue 50 and Van Buren Street.
Firefighters arriving at the scene discovered a three-vehicle accident with downed power lines. One victim required extrication before being transported to a hospital in critical condition. Two others sustained minor injuries and were also hospitalized.
The Imperial Irrigation District was called to assist with the downed power pole and power lines.
