Five people were injured following a two-vehicle crash on State Route 86 near Sunrise Drive in Salton City, Imperial County, on Sunday evening, February 16, 2025.
According to authorities, the crash occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. and involved two pickup trucks, one of which rolled over upon impact.
Emergency responders transported five victims to area hospitals. One individual was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center, while four others were taken by AMR Ambulance to Pioneers Memorial Hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
