A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 46 near Martin Avenue in Lost Hills, Kern County, on Sunday evening, February 16, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the crash around 6:04 p.m. involving a Honda hatchback and a motorcycle.
Authorities temporarily closed the westbound lanes while emergency crews responded to the scene.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a man, succumbed to his injuries. No additional details regarding the cause of the crash have been released.
The incident remains under investigation by the CHP.
