A pedestrian sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Alvarado-Niles Road in Union City on Monday night, February 17, 2025.
According to the Union City Police Department, the crash occurred near Almaden Boulevard and was reported at 8:42 p.m.
Authorities stated that all involved parties remained at the scene, but the extent of the pedestrian’s injuries was not immediately confirmed.
Police closed the eastbound lanes of Alvarado-Niles Road, advising drivers to use alternate routes. The road was expected to remain closed until early Tuesday morning as the investigation continued.
