Two teenagers were injured after their vehicle crashed into a tree on Highway 104 in Sacramento County on Sunday night, February 23, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just after 7:00 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 104 and Alta Mesa Road.
Upon arrival, officers found the driver unconscious with major injuries, while the passenger suffered a laceration and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Both teens are believed to be 17-year-old boys.
It is unclear whether alcohol played a role in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
