A 56-year-old pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a car in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday evening, February 24, 2026.
According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:40 p.m. on Prado Road.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and was in critical condition as of Wednesday.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene, was cooperative, and is not suspected of driving under the influence.
