Five people were injured, including one critically, in a traffic collision in Citrus Heights on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
According to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District officials, the crash occurred around 5 p.m. on the westbound Interstate 80 near Antelope Road.
The collision involved at least two vehicles, and it blocked the two left lanes on the interstate.
One person was critically injured, while three others sustained minor to moderate injuries. The condition of the fifth victim remains unknown.
The cause of the crash has not been determined, and the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
