Two pedestrians were seriously injured when a 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning struck them while they were crossing a marked crosswalk in the Rancho Bernardo neighborhood of San Diego on Thursday morning, February 26, 2026.
According to the San Diego Police Department, a 74-year-old woman driving the pickup truck struck a 76-year-old woman and a 77-year-old man on Hispano Drive.
The female pedestrian sustained multiple leg fractures, while the male pedestrian suffered a skull fracture and hematoma. Both were transported to a hospital by ambulance for medical treatment.
The incident is under investigation, and authorities have confirmed that DUI was not a factor.
