[02-27-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle on Power Inn and Calvine Rd.

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in south Sacramento on the morning of Friday, February 27, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at around 5:45 a.m. near the intersection of Power Inn and Calvine roads. 

The victim, identified as a female, was outside the crosswalk when she was hit by the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with the investigation. 

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
