A 44-year-old Reno man was killed in a head-on collision on County Road A-26 in Lassen County on early Friday morning, February 28, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the crash at approximately 4:24 a.m. The 44-year-old man was driving a 2019 Toyota southbound when it collided head-on with a 2016 Volkswagen driven by 37-year-old Miguel G. of Reno.
Miguel G. sustained minor injuries and was not transported for medical care. Two of his passengers, 34-year-old Ruby R. and 37-year-old Raul R., both of Reno, suffered major injuries and were transported to Renown Medical Center for treatment.
The cause remains under investigation.
