[03-08-2026] San Diego County, CA – Three People Injured in Crash in El Cajon

Two juveniles and one adult were injured in a crash in El Cajon on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

According to the El Cajon Police Department, the collision occurred at the intersection of Gustavo Street and Jamacha Road.

Authorities reported that one of the vehicles was traveling north at a high rate of speed when it drifted into southbound traffic, leading to the crash. 

The impact left one of the vehicles severely damaged and split in half between the front and back seats, with debris scattered across the roadway.

Emergency crews transported the two juveniles and one adult to a hospital for treatment. Officials said their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
