A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Indio on Thursday morning, March 13, 2025.
According to the Indio Police Department, the collision occurred on Valencia Avenue, east of Monroe Street.
Officers later located the suspect about a mile and a half away on Highway 111 near Marshall Street, where the vehicle was towed.
The condition of the pedestrian remains unknown at this time. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
