[03-15-2025] Pedestrian Injured After Hit-And-Run Crash at Harvard Blvd & Palm AveA pedestrian sustained moderate injuries after being struck in a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Harvard Boulevard and Palm Avenue in Santa Paula on Saturday morning, March 15, 2025.

According to the Santa Paula Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. when a vehicle traveling southbound on Palm Avenue made a left turn and struck a woman walking southbound in a marked crosswalk.

The driver failed to stop, provide aid, or report the crash and fled the scene. The injured pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

Following an investigation, authorities identified the suspect’s vehicle using an automated license plate reader. The driver, a 39-year-old Santa Paula woman, was arrested on March 17 while operating the same vehicle, which had damage matching the hit-and-run collision.

The suspect was booked into Ventura County Jail for felony hit-and-run, with bail set at $50,000. She is scheduled for arraignment on March 19, 2025.

The investigation is ongoing.
