[03-18-2025] Two People Critically Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash in AdelantoTwo people sustained critical injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Adelanto on Tuesday afternoon, March 18, 2025.

According to authorities, the crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of US Highway 395 and Rancho Road, involving a white 2010 Mazda CX-7 and a white 2020 Chevrolet Impala.

Reports indicate that the Mazda was traveling northbound on Highway 395, while the Chevrolet Impala was heading westbound on Rancho Road when they collided in the intersection. Both vehicles came to a stop in a dirt field at the northwest corner of the intersection.

The Chevrolet sustained significant driver’s side damage, while the Mazda’s front end was severely damaged. Emergency personnel from the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene, performing CPR on one of the occupants, who was later transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

A medical helicopter was requested to airlift the second injured individual to a trauma center.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
