Two people were killed in a three-vehicle crash in Kings County on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the crash that occurred on 12 3/4 Avenue, south of Douglas Avenue, north of Hanford.
Investigators said a man driving a 2022 Dodge Charger was heading north in the southbound lane at a high rate of speed.
At the same time, another man was driving a GMC directly to the right of the Dodge, and a woman in a Mitsubishi was traveling south toward the Charger.
CHP officials said the Dodge driver turned right into the GMC, crashing into it, before striking the Mitsubishi. The impact sent both the Dodge and the GMC into a nearby dirt field.
The GMC overturned, ejecting the driver and two passengers. The GMC’s driver and one passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The other passenger was taken to CRMC with moderate injuries.
The drivers of the Dodge and Mitsubishi suffered minor to no injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
What A Lawyer Can Do For You
Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
