[03-20-2026] Glenn County, CA – 53-Year-Old Woman Killed in Crash on County Road 20

A 53-year-old woman from Orland was killed in a crash on County Road 20 east of Interstate 5 in Glenn County on Friday morning, March 20, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 7:23 a.m. when a Toyota sedan driven by a 19-year-old Orland woman was traveling eastbound on County Road 20 behind a Kawasaki utility vehicle operated by the victim.

For reasons still under investigation, the Toyota struck the rear of the Kawasaki, ejecting the driver. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Toyota driver remained at the scene and performed CPR until emergency personnel arrived. Authorities stated that drugs or alcohol did not appear to have been factors in the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
