Two people were killed in a three-vehicle crash in Madera County on Saturday evening, March 21, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 41 and 145. A Dodge Challenger was involved in the crash along with two other vehicles.
Two occupants of the Challenger, the driver and passenger, sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their identities pending notification of next of kin. It is not yet known whether anyone in the other vehicles was injured.
Investigators are still working to determine the sequence of events leading up to the crash.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
