A 55-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run crash while riding his motorcycle in the Mission Valley neighborhood of San Diego on Wednesday afternoon, March 26, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred around 2:25 p.m. in the 5000 block of Texas Street. The man was riding a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound when a dark gray SUV traveling in the opposite direction made a U-turn in front of him.
The driver fled the scene. The motorcyclist suffered a broken nose and a deep forehead laceration and was transported to the hospital. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
Authorities are investigating whether impairment may have been a factor in the crash.
