A 52-year-old bicyclist was killed after being struck by a tractor on County Road 29 west of Highway 113 near Davis on Wednesday morning, March 26, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. The victim, identified as Michael L. from Woodland, was riding his bicycle eastbound in the bike lane when a tractor traveling in the same direction failed to see him and struck him.
The rider sustained fatal injuries. The tractor was operated by a 60-year-old man from Woodland.
CHP stated that neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected as factors in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
