A bicyclist was killed following a collision with a vehicle in Bishop, Inyo County, on Sunday morning, March 29, 2026.
According to the Bishop Police Department, the incident was reported at around 11:21 a.m. at the intersection of N. Fowler Street and Church Street.
Fire personnel from the Bishop Fire Department arrived at the scene and confirmed that the collision involved a vehicle and an E-Bike. The bicyclist sustained major injuries and received immediate medical care from fire personnel.
Sierra Life Flight arrived and transported the bicyclist to Northern Inyo Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Bishop Police Department is investigating the incident and is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or was in the area at the time to contact them at (760) 873-5866.
