[03-29-2026] Orange County, CA – One Killed in Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash on 91 Freeway in Anaheim

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash that involved a fire on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Anaheim early Sunday morning, March 29, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 5:25 a.m. on the eastbound freeway, just west of State Route 241.

Authorities reported that the crash involved a white work truck and another vehicle, with at least one of the vehicles catching fire.

A representative from the Orange County coroner’s office was dispatched to the scene at about 5:50 a.m.

All lanes of traffic were reopened around noon following the incident.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
