[03-30-2024] Butte County, CA – One Person Injured After Two-Vehicle Hit-And-Run Collision in Oroville

One person was injured after a two-vehicle hit-and-run collision in Oroville on Saturday afternoon, March 30, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the serious crash happened at about 4:45 p.m. along Highway 70.

Officers said that a white Dodge pickup with a distinct black grille struck the victim’s vehicle, effectively pushing it down a nearby embankment. The suspect car then fled immediately towards the Concow and Yankee Hill areas.

The victim was said to have been injured following the crash. The extent of the injury was not disclosed immediately.
