[03-30-2024] Orange County, CA – Woman Killed Following Two-Vehicle Head-On Collision in Santa Ana

A woman was killed following a two-vehicle head-on collision in Santa Ana on Saturday night, March 30, 2024. 

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the crash happened around 9:53 p.m. in the area of Fairview Street and Fifth Street. 

Authorities stated that the collision involved two vehicles, including a Nissan Versa and a Chevrolet Tahoe. The woman driving the Nissa Versa was traveling west on Fifth Street when she crossed into opposite lanes and struck a Chevrolet Tahoe head-on. 

The woman was transported to UCI Medical Center, where she died. 

Police said that the female Chevrolet driver and a toddler inside the vehicle were not injured. The surviving parties stayed at the scene to cooperate with the authorities. 

No further information was released. The investigation continues.
