A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Reche Road and Wilt Road in Fallbrook, San Diego County, prompted an expanded emergency response on Monday evening, March 30, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 6:08 p.m. and involved two Toyotas. Following the collision, one of the vehicles came to a stop on an embankment.
Initial reports indicated that all four occupants were able to exit their vehicles on their own. The North County Fire Protection District responded with multiple units, including engines, a medic unit, and command staff, which arrived at the scene at 6:14 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested for the vehicles, and emergency crews worked at the scene for about an hour and a half before clearing the incident at 7:49 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
