A woman was injured after sneezing, running a red light, and being struck by another vehicle in Fresno on Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2026.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash was reported at 12:32 p.m. near Perrin and Maple avenues.
The woman, driving to Costco, sneezed and entered the intersection against a red light, where her vehicle was struck by another vehicle and subsequently crashed into a tree.
The woman sustained minor injuries and was extracted from the vehicle by Fresno Fire Department crews.
Officials said one of the drivers involved in the crash was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
