Two drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital following a head-on collision on Old Millerton Road in Fresno County on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when an “impatient driver” attempted to pass over a solid yellow line, resulting in a collision that disabled both vehicles.
The injured drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, with authorities crediting their seatbelts for preventing more severe injuries.
The CHP emphasized the dangers of passing over solid or double yellow lines, stating that such actions are both illegal and highly dangerous.
The investigation is ongoing.
