One person was injured after a crash involving a semi-truck and an SUV on southbound Interstate 15 near Cleghorn Road in the Cajon Pass, San Bernardino County, early Friday morning, April 4, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 12:50 a.m. when a brown 2023 Buick Enclave rear-ended a white semi-truck and became lodged under its trailer.
The semi-truck driver was reportedly unaware of the impact and continued driving, dragging the SUV until a passing motorist flagged him down.
San Bernardino County Fire crews responded and found one person trapped inside the SUV. Firefighters extricated the driver, who was awake and alert, and transported them by ground ambulance with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
