A 35-year-old motorcyclist was fatally struck by a suspected DUI driver in the Ridgeview-Webster neighborhood of San Diego on Saturday evening, April 6, 2024.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the fatal incident happened around 7:25 p.m. on Euclid Avenue at Lyon Street.
A 58-year-old man was traveling in a 2000 GMC Sierra truck when it made a left turn directly into the path of a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
The 35-year-old rider was immediately transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity remains undisclosed.
The authorities arrested the truck driver for suspected DUI. Further information is not available as of now.
