One driver suffered critical injuries and another was hospitalized following a rear-end collision on N Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs on Monday afternoon, April 7, 2025.
According to Palm Springs Police spokesperson Ben Guitron, a southbound vehicle lost control and rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped at a red light.
The collision left one driver with critical injuries, while the other was transported to the hospital for pain-related complaints.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Palm Springs Police Department.
