One person sustained minor injuries following a collision between a semi-truck and a Toyota Prius on the southbound I-15 Freeway near Hesperia early Monday morning, April 7, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol logs, the crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. just north of the Ranchero Road off-ramp.
Officers found the Toyota Prius with significant damage to its driver-side and rear-end, blocking the fast lane (#1 lane). The semi-truck involved was located further ahead and pulled over to the right shoulder.
Emergency responders transported the injured individual by ambulance to Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville for treatment of minor injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the CHP.
