Multiple people were injured following a collision involving an AMR ambulance and a Toyota Camry at the intersection of Hook Boulevard and El Evado Road in Victorville on Monday night, April 7, 2025.
According to sheriff’s spokeswoman Socorro Cuevas, at around 7:00 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to Hook Boulevard and El Evado Road after receiving reports of a crash involving a white 2014 Toyota Camry and an ambulance.
The driver of the Toyota Camry and AMR personnel were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their current conditions were not immediately known.
A witness reported that the ambulance had been responding to an emergency with lights and sirens activated when the crash occurred.
The Victorville Police Department is investigating the cause of the collision.
